I bought this to use as a lunch box but it is really too small to even carry lunch. It would fit a sandwich, a few carrots, and a napkin. It is really about the size of a small sandwich bag. Beware if you want to use your tupperware with it!

I had a first aid kit from a reputable outdoor supply company, but the bag was black. When I whapped the living daylights out of the bridge of my nose one night while camping and was bleeding I had a hard time finding the kit because it wasn't readily visible. I know I can purchase first aid kits that are in a red bag, but prefer to make my own to include things that I find most practical for my needs. I car camp and am never all that far from help so I don't need a backcountry kind of kit which are the type retailers like REI often sell. I purchased the small Go Box in red and feel it's great for this purpose. I use 3 small clear zippered make up bags inside to hold the different kinds of supplies so it's organized nicely. It's an unconventional use for the Go Box, but for the price, durability and storage space it provides it fills the bill nicely for me.

I'm not able to comment on its usablity as a food container since it's too small for me for that purpose. That being said, it's made of the same materials REI uses in their Lunch Bag which I do own and am very satisified with, esp. when I use it with a small blue ice block inside.

We've been through a lot of lunch boxes. This one has already lasted a whole school year! It's very durable and easy to clean. It holds plastic food containers, a drink bottle, and an ice pack. The outside pocket is a bonus!

After having a couple of bottle-brand cooler bags fall apart on us, we looked for something a little bit nicer. For the same price (if not less) we found this bag and it's perfect. fits all we need to and then some and keeps things nice and cool. Also fits well in the diaper bag (Sherpani Nuvie) along with all the other items we have to carry.
