IF YOU RUN..... YOU NEED BIKILAS. Same size as my KSO'S and sprints. Fit like a glove. Initially a little tricky to get your foot into because the fabric doesn't have much give but once they are on they feel like butter!!! I love the gray and lime green, it makes them look very futuristic, but I wish vibram would make more colors for the women's styles besides PINK!! HOW ABOUT COBALT BLUE OR STEEL GRAY OR RED!!! I can already tell these are going to become dirty pretty quickly because of the color and the fabric, but I don't mind, the fit is incredible and worth the extra washings.
It does not matter if you have a high arch or no arch you can wear vibrams. I have a very high arch from years of ballet and these fit amazing. They strengthen your toes, arch, ankle, entire foot, calves......etc. I have a friend with no arch and he swears by them, that they have strengthened his foot and actually given him an arch.
I was very skeptical of Vibram Five Fingers when I was first introduced to them over 2 years ago. I thought they were some of the ugliest things I had ever seen. Eventually I was convinced to invest in a pair of KSO's and that was the start of my VFF addiction. THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE "SHOE". If you are new to vibrams understand that you need to ease your way into wearing. Start off by wearing them around the house and then for longer periods till your feet get used to them. YOUR FEET, ANKLES, AND CALVES WILL BE SORE if you have never worn vibrams, you are working muscles that have not been used in a LONG time! They are literally life changing, I now look forward to running without the side effects of shin splints, hip, and back pain. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A PAIR, AND IF POSSIBLE IN EVERY STYLE!!!
TIP: To keep your vibrams from smelling like death, buy a stick of deodorant and swipe it on the bottoms of your feet before you put them on, is a little weird, but has work wonders.

These are amazing. I have been running in the KSOs for about 4 months and was only moderately happy. I liked the lower impact on my joints, but was experiencing a lot of discomfort due to blisters. The bikilas offer more cushion and are softer on your feet. I went from being able to run 3.5mi in the KSOs before my feet hurt too much from skin irritation to immediately doing a 7mi run in the bikilas the first day I bought them. Favorite running shoes right now bar none.

My only concern is how these shoes will look especially after a few winter runs, however...
They have TRANSFORMED my running!!!! I have been changing my training/running due to endurance athlete type injuries and questioning my athletic future with endurance sports UNTIL I started running in this shoe. I am running painfree! And, I am picking up at least 30sec/miles faster wearing these shoes during long runs...That's HUGE!!!!
In the store they didn't have the shoe or my size to try on so I was excited about them but really had no idea what to expect. I was shocked at how much support they offer and the perfect glove-like fit. I can feel my running mechanics drastically improve. (I have rigid feet so I was concerned how they'd feel on concrete.) I never expected to so passionately promote a specific shoe but I would highly recommend this shoe-though be cautious to "train yourself" into running this way before you just jump into a long run.

I was very happy with these Bikila Five Finger shoes for about 2 months. Then I noticed that they began delaminating. After another month or two I noticed that the main padding on the bottom of the shoes was wearing thru to the inner nylon and eventually thru to skin of my foot. I am NOT a runner. I am an ardent walker of about 1 mile every day on grassy parkways and over intermittent concrete driveways. These shoes did NOT stand up to this mild use.If you can afford to pay about $100 every 4-6 months for new Bikila, then will be happy. If you cannot afford such wasteful expenditures, then avoid these shoes.[@]

This is my second pair of Five Fingers, and I absolutely love them! They aren't quite as sensitive as the KSOs, but they make up for that in comfort. They are so soft and smooth on the inside, and really do fit like a glove.
To the person who gave up on them because they are too tight over the arches, I'd say try them again. I have really high arches and insteps, and had to pry them onto my feet the first time I put them on (I really didn't think they were going to make it at first), then wore them for about 3 hours, and they stretched nicely. After a few wearings, I can now get my toes all the way to the pockets without using my hands, and it's easy to grab the back and pull it up around my heel.

I have had these since they came out in April. They are a definite upgrade from the Sprints I used prior. I have not used them for a race yet this year but anticipate fewer blisters than I experienced with the Sprints. They are WAY more comfortable although I ordered them in the same size as the Sprints and, I believe, that because they no longer have the adjustable back, they don't fit as tight! If you are new to VFF I would definitely recommend finding a store near you to try them on and find the right size for you then use your sparatic 20% off coupon here at REI :-) My husband won't go anyway with me if I have either pair on because he thinks they are creepy....needless to say he doesn't go many places with me anymore!!!

Based on recommendations from REI staff and Vibram, I ordered this in the 37 instead of the 38 I wear in the Vibram Sprint. Unfortunately, the 37s ended up being too small, especially in the toe area. The seam on the big toe immediately started rubbing causing a hot spot.
Other than the tight toe fit, the shoe looks and fit well through the arch and heel area. I'll definitely exchange these as they appear to be very well constructed and I'm excited for the additional support they offer. The light gray color is going to get dirty pretty quick but the bright green accents are fun.
I only gave three stars at this time due to the sizing issue. If you're on the line between a size, you might want to pick the larger one if you're not able to try them on in the store.

I had been running in KSOs for about a year when I got these. I'm really happy to have a *little* extra cushioning, plus the other Bikila-specific design features: soft heel, slightly more open on top of foot, softer inside. I had to size down in the Bikilas to a 37 (from a 38 in KSOs). They are longer and narrower than the KSOs, but feel great after a few wears.
My biggest concern is with Vibram's quality control. After 4 or 5 wears for short runs, the toe peeled right off of the sole. Same thing happened on my girlfriend's pair after even less wear. I really appreciate REI's generous return/exchange policy since I'll have to wait until more stock comes in to replace them.
Overall, I'm very happy with these and all of Vibram FiveFingers shoes.

I have been running in my VFF Classics and have been looking forward to my pair of Bikilas. Unfortunately this model does not work well if you have high arches combined with wide feet.
I have read elsewhere that this model is tight and will stretch in time. I was unable to get these on my feet at all without a fight. I forced them on in the hope that they would stretch. After a sessions of stretching I was able to get them on to my feet.
I attempted a run in them but they are WAY too tight. The shoe length is perfect but the arch is too low.
I am going to attempt moving up one size, but I am concerned these will be too long. I will report back after trying a larger size.

The Bikila is a wonderful improvement on the KSO. Vibram clearly listened to KSO wearers and remedied some of the few weaknesses of the KSO. The footbed/tread is more durable, provides better protection while still giving the runner footfeel on the road/trail/surface. Only drawback I've found so far is completely cosmetic - the light color is impossible to keep clean.
