Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

Put 50-70 miles on the pair, then discovered there was a hole in the bottom of one of the toes...and was also bleeding through the hole. My other Bikilas have lasted much longer (though I wound up patching them too). Switching to non-toed minimalist shoes that hopefully don't wear out quite so fast.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

This is my 4th pair of Vibrams, and I LOVE them. I prefer to be barefoot, and these are the closest I can get. I wear them long hours at work, and nearly anywhere. Really comfortable on a plane!

They take time to put on at first, so give yourself time when you shop for them. The different styles fit differently, and I did try a couple I didn't like, so definitely, try them on! Once you know the styles you like, you can order them online. This is my first pair of Bikilas, and they fit very much like my Komodos. LOVE THEM!!!!

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

I am a distance runner that was looking for a better option for arch support and padding, but staying with vibram fivefingers. I had 2 pairs of KSO's prior to these, but the main selling point for me was the 4mm TC-1 rubber pods on the bottom. They are the most amount of padding on fivefingers that I have worn yet. They also have a polyurethane arch for more support and 3mm of EVA sole. I feel almost no pain in my feet compared to my KSO's. The only bad things are that they have no pores to allow for breathablilty and ventilation, so you can't wear them for too long without them smelling. Otherwise the best pair of fivefingers yet!!!

I bought a pair for myself a year ago, then a pair for my mom three months ago, and another for my sister...I love these shoes. Hike, run, walk.

I moved this summer and for safety I wore hiking shoes, the next day my feet were swollen, sore, and tight. I wore these bad boys and by lunch my feet felt better than ever.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

I LOVE these shoes. They are my first pair of VFFs (and have inspired me to buy another pair). I bought them for running on asphalt, but have found that they are my go-to shoes for errands and work. I am a teacher and have to wear comfortable shoes to chase around 11-13 year olds. I'm on my feet for about 5 hours a day and wear these in the classroom. The kids think they are soooooo cool (I've got the hot pink ones). These are now my favorite shoes (except for my havianas in summer). I'm going to get a few other pairs/styles so I can wear them at work year-round. Also, compared to my other pair of VFFS, these feel like gloves. I think Vibram must have taken a mold of my foot to make these shoes (j/k)! They are amazing! They are very snug, which I love, but others might not like. I've tried on lace-up VFFs and pefer the tight fit of the kind with the strap.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

These shoes are awesome if you have any minor toe deformities. I cannot wear regular shoes without pain because I have a toe on each foot that curves under a neighboring toe. My mother has unsuccessfully been through two surgeries for her toes and I really don't want to go that route, so I was excited to try out fingered shoes. With the curved toes, it does take a little patience to get them in the toe slot of the shoe, but it's doable. I find it's actually easier to get my toes in the slots when I don't wear socks. BUT it's more comfortable wearing the shoes with socks. When I wear them without socks the shoe rubs a little against the back of my ankle. No blisters have development though (knock on wood).

I am an obese person, so my extra weight might be the culprit, but running on pavement does not feel good in these shoes. Running on grass or dirt is fine. Another cool thing about wearing these shoes is that my very wide feet usually are cramped in regular shoes (even the wide width ones), but I have no discomfort in these. Which is weird, because I see some reviewers saying they felt narrow. Go figure, right?

Also, I tend to pronate inward with regular shoes (to the point where I wear out the inner sides of shoes first), but I feel "centered" in these shoes.

Only negatives I've experienced so far is that these shoes are not waterproof. It'd be nice, considering that running on grass feels a whole lot better than running on pavement, and the grass is usually wet in the mornings when I run.

I've been fighting painful foot soles for months. These wild looking creatures have made an amazing difference. I walk, run, mow the grass in them. Still not out of the woods, but TONS better. Next pair will try a half-size larger. My arch is really high and these are slightly ahead of it. Lovin' it.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Running Shoes - Women's:

I bought these shoes 2 years ago, they were my first VFF shoes. They were super comfortable right out of the box, I wanted to wear them all the time!

It took a long time to work up to appreciable distance, as I didn't want to injure myself. I took my time, changing shoes mid-run if necessary. After a few months, I was running exclusively in these. I wear them with no socks, and have almost no rubbing/blister problems.

Many reviewers say they don't last long, but mine sure did! There was splitting of the soles from the uppers, but it didn't affect the function of the shoe at all. I even did several trail and mud races in them and they held up great! Plus, you can throw them in the washing machine when they get dirty. I ran many miles in these, training for and running several half marathons.

I found the sizing to be very accurate, even though I ordered them online.
