Comments about Cannondale Synapse Carbon 5 Compact Bike - 2010:

I bought a '09 from a local shop and love it. This is a light-weight bike (compared to my old cromoly bike) and I can feel teh acceleration when I need it. Lot easier to ride up the hills. I hate the seat, so am changing that. Also had to change the handlebar stem, but both are small issues.

Overall, I really like the bike and knew it almost instantly. Also the fact that the carbon fiber frame is guaranteed for life for the original owner sold me. This bike is an improvement over aluminum and cromoly frames because, for another couple of hundred bucks, you are able to get the carbon fiber frame, which is well worth the money.
