Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom +0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
1)This is the lightest true 0 degree bag made (by 2-3 oz.) Consider if that offsets the possible fragility of the bag shell when you throw it over a rough granite boulder or other object to dry in the morning. There is no hang loop on the bag.
2)The zipper is 3/4 length, as stated by REI, not full zip as stated by MH (a little less functional).
3)The bag is cut to have no excess in the shoulders, no problem except you may want to have the zipper on the R side if you are L handed. For me it was too much of a struggle to get into the L side zip version that REI sells. (I'm 5'9", size reg.)
4)Water resistant shell held a teaspoonful of water for 1 hour before leaving a slightly darkened area on the shell. Dark color will make bag dry fast.
5)Well designed comfortable hood (better than WM's poorly designed hood.)
6)Design flaw found in all down bags, that is, down shifting toward the ground and leaving uninsulated cold spots, is present in this bag also. This gets worse as down ages and doesn't fill sleeping bag fully (and is a significant problem if you are a side sleeper.) Manufacturers can contact me thru REI if they want to know how to fix this.
Overall, this could be a great bag for specific uses (cold and light) and a good bag for general but careful use -- recommended with caveats.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom +0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
Got this bag for my birthday. After having the Marmot Helium 15 degree bag, I was looking for something warmer. I took this to Sierra National Park and slept outside on a prolite pad fully clothed the first night. I was plenty plenty warm. All our bottles froze that night. The second night, I slept in boxers and was still plenty warm. There was frost on my friends beard that night. I am a smaller packer: 135 lbs 5'10 and I fit perfect in the bag. It rolls with me, just like a bag should do. No complaints for the bag, other than the price.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom +0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I bought this bag in Dec 2010 and I have loved it ever since. According to my scale, my 0°, Regular size weighs 2.8 lbs. (45 oz). I love how the hood feels when it is cinched up. The hood is very comfortable and does not tighten down on your face. I am 5' 10", 210 lbs and I can roll around comfortably in the bag. I can either make the bag roll with me or I can roll inside of the bag. I carry a down pillow that fits into the hood nicely. I have slept in this bag in an igloo in 8° in my underwear and was cozy warm. I also love the stuff sack because it is a good fit and the material slides into position in my backpack nicely. I would be happy to use this on negative degree days as well. I always love pulling this bag out at bedtime because I know I will be warm, especially when other people are pulling out 20 and 30 degree bags and I know they will be chilly.
I will admit that my feet get chilly sometimes so I typically sleep with my wool socks on, then remove them in the middle of the night if necessary. The price is high but I was fortunate enough to get it for half price, otherwise I would not own this bag.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom +0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
This not the bag worth buying it leaks down on a regular basis very tight and cold spots if you sleep on your side.
if you want a good zero bag i would consider
something other than this bag it is very expensive and not worth the price.
