by fromMy Were Not Briefs Got a pair of these last week, a size XL. Well I'm 6'1" 250 lbs and they were so big it was like wearing a 3XL. No support at all, but I understand why they are so large. Maybe If I got a size L, but I'm not willing to waste my time or my money.

by fromNot durable Purchased two pair of these last year. After light use (wore once every three weeks), they began to wear out after about six months. In other words, after wearing them about nine times they began to develop holes along the seams and were, essentially, unwearable. Unacceptable for underwear that cost so much. Someone made out on this deal, but it wasn't me.

by fromnew euro-trash style blows I have several pair of boxer briefs that are about a year old. they're great. good fit, good comfort and breathability. This newer, current style with the shorter legs are more like hot pants than anything else. the image on the website does not accurately reflect how short they are. they tend to ride up and bind in the crotch and are noticeably tighter even though I bought the same size. I'd rather not look like some euro-trash, ashton kutcher wannabe. I would just rather have some comfortable underwear. I will be switching to patagonia or ex-officio now that they have changed the style.

by fromWould Not Recommend I must echo the comments of the writer that referred to these as "hot pants". These are the strangest underwear I have ever come across. They are cut way too short with entirely too little room in the crotch. They are terribly uncomfortable and vitrually unwearable. Very disappointing for the price paid.

by fromNot the Same Fit After New Redesign I've bought many REI boxer briefs over the years. This last redesign (the REI logo is gone on the waistband), is not good. The legs have very little elastic. They seem long enough, but they ride up / bunch up. The height from waistband to belly button is lower too. Not the same as they used to be. In the past, I'd have rated these very highly.

by fromDO NOT BUY THESE These are the worst underwear ever. Expensive, wear out in 3 months. You can go to [...] and get the same thing from Champion for half the price and they fit and wear better. They also don't fall apart after 2 months. Shame on REI for making such a horrible product.

by fromMaterial is like paper. The material is far too thin. I had holes in the crotch within 2 weeks of use.

by fromNice attempt... but keep working at it. I was really happy to see a cheaper REI version of the Exofficio boxer brief. The main problem is after about a year these become pretty smelly no matter how many times you wash them. I guess I'll spend the extra $10 and get the Name Brand.
