Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
One pair had a small defect and REI made good with out question. Have been wearing Patagonia and REI brand. The REI shorts have held up year to year with Patagonia, which are 3x the px of REI!

these are the only shorts of this type that seem to be cut correctly. I have tried the same from various other vendors. these really are the only one i like.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
These boxers are perfect for me. Lightweight and comfortable, they are the only boxers I ever wear anymore (except for when I have to wear the polys in cold climate scenarios).
Im an athletic build so 31 waist but muscular thighs. These are much better than the patagonias which were thinner and bunched up when moving around. These never bunch, and I like the looser fit.
They wash in the sink and dry within a few hours, and the elastic in the waist is durable for 3-4 years of hard use. But Im hard on my gear.
Hope REI never stops making these but you know how manufacturers change products every so often, even the good ones. To that end Im considering buying enough pairs to last for the next 20 years.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
These feel like stretchy silk boxers.
Wicking, lightweight, dry quickly, true to size, easy to wash. Haven't had them long enough to test their ability to repel odors, although I wore them for a couple of days straight and didn't notice. Very comfortable to sleep in.
The material is stretchy, almost gives you the feeling that they're going to bunch up on you, but they don't. Once you get situated they seem to stay in place. For me the fit is just right, not too baggy or too much material, and not too tight where they are binding. The stretchiness of the material will come down to personal choice, if you like the feel of them or not. Once they're in use you don't notice at all and may be a positive since the shorts won't bind.

Love these. Greta for the hot, humid environment in southeast Alabama. I usually stay nice and dry, when I do get extremely sweaty they dry out very quickly. These never ride up, whether I'm casual, running, hiking, biking, etc. The cut of my pants/shorts doesn't matter, either. Very soft and comfortable. Had my first pair for about six months and no excessive wear.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
These are great, made in the USA and very comfortable. They are just as good, if not a bit more comfortable than the exofficio's(I have several pairs of them as well). I use them everyday, water parks, playing sports and sleeping. They are an even better deal if you can get them on sale.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
I was looking for a lower priced alternative to Patagonia boxer shorts, which are nice but high cost. REI boxers are not a roomy as Patagonia. If you like roomy that is probably good. if not, it is not a plus.
The only problem I had with these was that the little plastic string that holds price tag would not come off completely and part of it was embedded in waistband. But there were very nice when I took them back and there were no questions on an exchange.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
As far as boxers go, the fit is exactly what I expected. The construction is thin and light weight. Time will tell how well the fabric will endure. I didn't purchase these for every day wear, but I can easily see how someone could. They are very comfortable, especially around the waist.
My only caution is how to dry them. I highly recommend you don't use a dryer. Air dry on a flat non-porous surface or better yet, drape from a hanger.
Plus, it's hard to find underwear still made in the USA.

These are comfortable enough for every-day use. Loose-leg fit, but that's what I like.

Comments about REI Boxers - Men's:
Super comfortable! They really are amazing and what started as purchasing a pair specifically for hiking will turn into the only pair of boxers I will purchase in the future for everyday use.
I highly recommend giving these a shot
