The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Victorinox Tinker/Classic Swiss Army Knife Set:
I have been carrying a Swiss Army Tinker knife with me at all times for at least 40 years. The blades stay sharp and are used for all kinds of tasks. The screwdrivers (phillips, medium, and small) are frequently useful. I use the bottle opener to open beer bottles all the time, and the can opener occasionally. It will work as a hunting knife, although with no blade lock, it is not ideal for this purpose. The small classic has a scissors which is something that the tinker lacks. I have never had a knife fail or the plastic covers break or fall off. They do get lost, and I have to replace my knife every 2 to 3 years on average.

Comments about Victorinox Tinker/Classic Swiss Army Knife Set:
During my time in the military I would pull out my Swiss Army Knife for tasks and have guys scoff at it's unassuming stature. What it lacks in "cool" points it makes up exponentially in performance.
Swiss Army Knives have a tendency to get lost due to it going through the wash and staying in the pocket of the pants that go in the drawer or even slip out of a pocket when moving around in the woods. Another con would be that the red plastic covers, after a while, can come loose. This can be fixed with a little epoxy.
This knife doesn't replace a good field knife when it comes to heavy duty tasks, but they are not bulky in your pocket, they'll get you out of all kinds of jams and you can get those blades super sharp.
I'll tell you the same thing I'd tell my guys before my Tinker's performance proved invaluable- NEVER underestimate a Swiss Army Knife.
