I have owned this watch for a couple of months. I use it at the gym and out hiking/biking. You must wet the leads, but it conducts very well (my old Timex HRM didn't conduct well). It is very easy to use. The most important reason I chose this watch is that it lets you set your own exercise parameters, both lower and upper limits. The batteries can be replaced by the owner. I haven't gone onto Polar's Personal Trainer program, but you are supposed to be able to manually input your numbers. Some of the other models sell a product to upload automatically, but reviews are mixed. This watch does exactly what I want it to do--I didn't need any additional features. It is chunky and the color isn't great, but I did buy it to be a fashion piece. I'm very happy with the watch.

Strap and watch are both very comfortable to wear. No problems with weight lifting on the watch hand (I've noticed that other watches can catch on the wrist with wrist extension/flexion). Easy to set up. Very accurate - never lost my heart rate. I was at first reluctant to spend the $$ but I'm happy I did. I'm impressed!

I just bought this after reading and comparing and I love it. Perfect for those who want to accurately see calories burned after a work out or monitor heart rate during workouts.
My only disappointment with it (more with REI) is that I called and live chatted and both people told me that the chest strap fits 27-60" and that it not true. The strap is a size M-XXL and fits 27-45". I'm a 46" chest and it is VERY snug, but it works.

Service and delivery comments:

Very fast delivery. Item arrived in a nice box.

Customer service, as mentioned in the other part of review was wrong. So make sure if you're chest is 46" or larger, to get a different chest strap.
