The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
Over time the spoon becomes rough from wearing down the material. Doesn't retain smells of food very well as a wooden material...a plus with tuna and pasta. Strong and durable. Chop Stix feel great in hand...a must for couscous. Knife can cut cheese...slice at the least. Light weight. Doesn't scratch bottom of pot...keeps nonstick surface clean from damage. A sustainable product... I'm a happy camper.

I use this utensils everyday at the cafeteria at my workplace, to minimize the impact of plastic-ware. They are just perfect!
I don't know, though, if they will be sturdy enough to sustain a backpacking trip.

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
I like these, but when I took them on a road trip used them as my only utensils for 9 weeks I used the spoon so much the finish wore off the edges. It started to get rough like unfinished wood and the edges hurt my mouth. I like how light they are and I like how they look, and I'm sure they'd be fine for short trips or occasional use but they're not so good for intensive use over long periods of time. Still, I think I prefer them to the annoying plastic sporks.

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
The only problem I experienced with this set was the pouch. The pouch is very snug, so much so, that even before I removed the set from the packaging, a chopstick had already worked through the bottom of the pouch and punched a hole in it. I stitched it with durable thread, but it remains a problem with the set. Otherwise, it has served me well.

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
I use this product whenever I'm camping. I love the chopsticks and probably use them more than any other utensil. One problem I have with this set is the bag they come in. I actually got rid of the bag and just put a rubber band around the utensils because if you're missing a utensil they wont stay securely in their bag. I love the utensils, not the bag.

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
The fork is better than any spork out there. Great for cans of tuna. They clean well and do not hold odor. They do not scrape metal in an irritating way. Best non-plastic product out there!

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
I love this set and use it every single day (thanks H!). Really. I travel for work and am bombarded with plastic and Styrofoam containers and utensils. These are attractive enough to use in regular civilization -- the chopsticks even have decorative twist at the end -- and durable and easy-to-clean enough to use everyday and in less-developed environments. I have taken them camping, schlepped them to three other continents, stuck them in dishwashers and microwaves, and washed them with camping laundry soap. I've not had a problem with odors, stains, or the finish.
The knife is not sharp at all -- it will not "cut a salami log" as a reviewer stated about another brand. And I've lost the spoon -- left in a hotel and housekeeping threw it away. The pouch is really nice and the freebie mini-carabiner is nice too, but the utensils do not have individual attachment points. The pouch is snug enough with all the utensils for inside a pack, but I wouldn't put it on the outside ever. And after losing the spoon, the pouch is not snug enough and my chopsticks keep falling out. I've got a temporary replacement with a regular metal spoon -- it hurts the aesthetics but is otherwise the same. I would prefer a zipper pouch or a way to attach each utensil with the pouch to the carabiner -- I shall be making my own of the former.

I like the set, I did have to put an edge on the knife so that it cut more than butter

Comments about To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set:
I use this utensil set everyday for lunch at work and have been very pleased with its performance. The curvature of the knife is especially suited for spreading cream cheese (or peanut butter, or whatever...) onto a bagel. I have gotten multiple compliments by my co-workers, and some have even purchased their own. All-in-all this is a very nice set!
p.s. I also use these utensils for backpacking, and they hold up very well.
