Carema Pro is your all-around sport ride, fast enough for fitness training and racing, yet comfortable and stable enough for touring rides over mountain passes
Together, the 6061 aluminum frame and carbon fiber fork provide the stiffness required for quick acceleration and efficient energy transfer in climbs
Painted Kinesis carbon fiber fork also helps dampen road vibrations, increasing comfort and reducing fatigue over long, hard rides
Shimano 105 derailleurs and 10-cog cassette and FSA Vero triple crankset provide quick, crisp shifts and gearing to tackle any terrain
Shimano 105 shifter/brake levers allow fast shifting and braking control without the need to remove hands from handlebars
Shimano R450 long-reach caliper brakes offer plenty of clearance for fenders and deliveri dependable braking power
Alex ALX 200 wheelset and Vittoria Zaffiro tires offer an admirable mix of durability and fast performance
Comfortable, smooth-handling cockpit includes FSA Vero Compact handlebar, Kalloy 3D forged aluminum stem and Kalloy aluminum, microadjustable seatpost
Streamlined, lightweight San Marco Ischia saddle is contoured and lightly padded
Eyelets for fenders or a rack let you outfit bike for wet-weather or commuting performance (fenders or rack sold separately)

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
