Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
I bought this shoe as a replacement to a pair of Merrell's and wore them on a recent trip throughout Ireland. The shoe looks great, fits my wide foot well (I normally wear a size 12 but needed a 13 in this shoe), handled torrential rains without leaking, and went on numerous hikes. This shoe is more comfortable than my Merrell's and my Keen sandals. The vibram sole is sturdy and absorbed rocks and other trail irregularities. This shoe is not quite a business casual shoe but I am thinking I can pull it off this winter as long as there is snow on the ground. The shoe is more suited to cooler weather and although it does vent, when the temperature gets into the mid-70s and higher, the shoe gets a little warm. I would not recommend this shoe if you only live in warm climates. I was skeptical that any shoe could replace my Merrells but after wearing the shoe for a month, I have a new favorite pair of shoes.

Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
They have a funny shaped toes, so they run about 1 size too big. They are fantastic shoes: vibram soles, pigskin uppers, good design, and waterproofness!
They will probably last a bit longer than my Keens, which seemed to wear quickly.
I love the big stable heel, often only found in motion control running shoes. The heel is leather lined, so it slides easily against your socks and will not wear thru.

Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
Awesome shoe so far. I originally bought a pair of waterproof Keen's, but could not get a good fit (the heel kept slipping). Tried these on, and was immediately impressed with the fit. I have wider than normal feet, and was able to get a very comfortable fit with going up a 1/2 size than normal. After a week of wearing, they are very comfortable, though they do tend to get warm with just moderate activity. My feet are prepared for the urban Michigan winter weather!

Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
I was looking for an alternative to Keen hiking shoes and decided to give the Teva's a whirl. I find these very comfortable, dry, and a joy to wear. I could use a bit more arch support; however it should be adequate for most. Put them on and get walking!

Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
This is a good cold weather--winter--shoe. Excellent traction even in icy conditions. Very comfortable (except a little lacking on the arch support). Repels wintery weather well. However, your feet will heat up and sweat especially if you are inside at room temp or exerting yourself. In the right conditions (again, read outside in the cold!) these shoes perform remarkably well.

Comments about Teva Riva eVent Shoes - Men's:
Bought these because I needed a shoe to wear during the winter to work, but didn't want a full-out winter boot. So far, in the torrential rain we've had, they've been fantastic. I've also got arthritic feet, and these are the first shoes I've been able to find that allow me to walk pain-free all day. I've worn them every day for the past two weeks, and I love them. I work in a very casual office, and I can pull them off with a decent pair of khakis.
