        I have owned a number of winter boots and hiking boots in my day, and these are the worst I've ever encountered! They definitely "look cool" and I like the low profile. They are not clunky, which is great. HOWEVER, the fur at the top of the boot does not roll up or down. It's sort of a useless accoutrement. And because it doesn't roll, I suspect it will get dirty quickly. The other BIG problem with the boots is that the tongue is too large to allow proper lacing of the boot. So there is a gap at the top of the boot which will inevitably let in snow!

        I just received these boots and they are cute and stylish, very lightweight, and very, very comfortable. The sizing is true even with my wide feet. Just a tad snug in the width (typical for my feet) but the leather is soft and will stretch to conform to my width with wear. I have been looking for a boot for everyday use and these will do nicely. I wish they were completely waterproof but I ordered a different severe weather boot for the extreme cold weather we have in Upper Michigan. I am unsure of the material quality and hope they hold up to my hard use. Disappointed that boots are made in China like most are these days.

        I absolutely love these boots. Great for those cold weather days and they are extremely comfortable. They have great arch support for your feet and I love the fact that they have a zipper on the side so they are easy to get on and off. It was a little hard at first to get the laces adjusted but once you do then it is so simple to get them on and off. I highly recommend these boots.
