On of the most aggravating things about stroke-recovery is putting on and tying shoes one-handed. Yes, I can tie shoes one-handed, with difficulty, but these laces make putting on my shoes simple and quick. Coupled with a lightweight pair of NB100s, and I was the envy of fellow rehab patients, and therapists said these worked better than any other combo they had seen. It's been 6 weeks, I'm back to get more for other shoes to wear.

This product looked pretty cool, but the laces will not tighten down like traditional laces. If you like your shoes snug and well secured this is not for you. If you want something that slips on and is for casual wear they may work. Back to old school laces for me.

I have high insteps so traditional shoe laces hurt my feet. I though I give these a try. I put a pair on my Merrill Outland Mid Hiking Boots. They have made them much more comfortable. I did have some reservations about not able to keep them tight enough. That has not been a problem. A big plus is now I can slip on and off my hiking boots without undoing the laces. I am going to replace all my lace shoes and mid high boots with these.

I never intended to use this thing, but I originally bought them for my wife who always take kids in and out of house and need to take off shoes. After I installed them to her Asics, she absolutely loved them, and asked me to replace all of her shoes (though she hated most of the color offered...)

With my envy eyes and my gearhead spirit, I gave a shot for my running shoes, which was big thing for me as I HATED idea of not having traditional shoe lace. I was wrong. It was one of the greatest things I bought for my running life.

Adjustment is easy, slip in and out in just a simple pull. Just as ad said. Read the instruction carefully and follow it, and you have great quick lace system for any shoes of yours.

So far I ran over 1 year in Asics Kayano using Yankz, and they are still going strong. Great buy for the price.

My motivation to buy these laces was the amount of time I spent tying shoes when I leave and return to both my and friends homes. I properly laced my shoes for support which took time. My better half didn't like waiting after she slid on her shoes that lack laces.

Verdict? Success!

I can enter and exit my shoes in seconds, and I still get satisfactory support.

these things are the best. I have 3 or 4 pairs now and I recommend them to everone I know. I am buying my wife a pair right now. they stay tight for running and they are loose enought for casual ware. It take a bit to adjust them so that they are perfet but one you get it that is the last time. No joke, that is it. I have at lease 100 miles running on my last pair and no adjustment. The reflective ones really show up to. Get em, get em, get em, they ar great. now if they only made them for hunting boots.

I use these on a pair of Merrell shoes. Once you get them adjusted to your comfort level these are very convenient. No more worrying about your shoes coming untied or laces that are too long. I noticed some other reviewers mentioned that you cannot tighten them. I had the opposite problem at first. Initially, I had them adjusted too tight and they were cutting off my circulation. Once I had them adjusted properly I have found them much more comfortable than traditional laces.

I put these into my running shoes and it took me a while to find the right level of tightness to satisfy me. The Yankz were difficult to slide through the eyelets, especially the one at the toe, making adjustments a bit hard. However, once I found the right tension in the laces, I find that the shoes fit well and the Yankz do their job well.
