Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 28 - 35:
I've been using these on a cyclocross bike for about four months. Before, I was getting goat-head thorn flats about every 2nd or third ride. I ride off road on trails that have caused me many flats over the years. I got a flat after my first ride with these but I honestly think that it was due to a thorn that was already in the tube and was pushed in . since then, flawless.

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 28 - 35:
When I first began commuting around Boston, I got 2 flats within the first month. I then put in these tire liners, and not one flat in 3 years. I am not the nicest to my wheels or tires, I don't live in the kindest of neighborhoods, and I probably ride through shards of glass at least twice a week.
My wheels were noticeably slower to spin up after putting the tire liners in, so I definitely wouldn't recommend them for racing. But if you want bomb-proof tires for commuting in an area that's puncture-prone, just slap these tire liners inside any tire, and you can be pretty much worry-free.
I just did a huge upgrade on my wheels (stock-->higher-end training wheels) and despite my desire to be faster--hence the upgrade--, I wouldn't think about riding without these tire liners. Getting a flat is the absolute worst, and almost every puncture flat is preventable with these.

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 28 - 35:
I combined these with Continental Ultra Gatorskins hoping to be impervious to road hazards. The first time I was forced to ride through a patch of goat-head puncture vines, (a common nuisance around here and a primary reason for using the Stop Flats) I got 4 punctures that went right through the Gatorskins, liners and tube. Granted there were a dozen thorns stuck in my tires and only four got through, but the fact is that about 25% of the thorns were able to pierce the armor. These are not the answer for me. Also, be wary of thier tube replacement guarantee. To get your free tube you must send in the punctured tube and the tire liner. The shipping alone will cost you more that you will spend on a replacement tube.

I use these on a cyclo-cross bike that I generally use for commuting. Today I was out on a ride when I noticed what felt like a bump on my rear tire. After pulling over I noticed that my tire had a tear in it, but these tire liners kept the inner tube from poking through and going flat. Not sure how long I rode with the tear in the tire, at least .25 miles though, but it was nice that these liners allowed me to get futher down the road and closer to home before having to walk.

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 28 - 35:
1200 miles through the Rockies in spring without a single flat speaks for itself.
I had to replace my rear tire (the one carrying both my weight and a heavy trailer) before I had to replace the tube.
Incredible.
