Comments about Gerber Curve Knife:

I wanted something small I could either put in my pocket or carry on my keychain. This is so small it fits into my pocket and I don't realize it's there. It has come in handy many times. I had read the review about the carabineer clip however I have not had any problems with mine at all. I've clipped it to my pack, keychain, etc. It has so many uses. If you are looking for something small and very functional I would recommend this tool! I've been very happy with it.

    Comments about Gerber Curve Knife:

I put this on my keychain as soon as I got it.
Less than an hour later, I dropped my keys and the knife came off the keychain. Turns out that the spring gate popped out of its holes. I used my Leatherman multi-tool - How ironic is that? - to compress the spring gate just enough to get it back in the holes. It worked fine for about two days. Then I, as I unlocked my front door, I noticed the knife was gone. The spring had sprung again.I like Gerber products and have always had good luck with them, but, never got to use this one. Too bad.

Poor keyring attachment point. The tools are not user friendly like other micro-tools. I used to like Gerber but I fear they have gone cheap and some of their products show this!!!

    Comments about Gerber Curve Knife:

This knife is lightweight, compact, and fits on a keychain well. For occasional use it does just fine, especialy for the price. The unlock button is difficult to operate but seems to do a good job of keeping the knife open. I am not sure I would buy it again but it works ok for now.

    Comments about Gerber Curve Knife:

When I saw it, the Curve looked like a cool little tool to have on my keychain. However, the "handy" carabiner clip isn't durable enough to keep it on the keychain. I've almost lost it twice because the clip, simply, fell off.

    Comments about Gerber Curve Knife:

I bought this knife because I thought that it seemed like a really good idea. It packages a small knife blade, screwdrivers, and a bottle opener into a small, light, and easy to use package (particularly so because it is easy to remove the knife from your key chain). The knife attaches to your key chain using a carabiner/gate style clip, which makes it easy to remove so you can more easily use the knife/tools. HOWEVER, the little bent wire that serves as the clip/gate rather easily comes off and is difficult to get back on if it comes all the way off. As far as the tools include are concerned, I think having the screwdriver blades is a GREAT idea for this small of a knife. But, due to the rather open structure of this knife, the blade can come open if the tip gets hooked on something. Also, if you tend to fidgit with your keys (as I sometimes do), it is easy for the tip of the knife to nick your fingertip since you can access the knife blade from the underside if you are not careful. The locking mechanism has also proven to be a bit troublesome as it is not particulary easy to use.
