The Outdoor Research Alti mittens for women provide exceptional warmth when venturing out in seriously cold temperatures, above 8,000m or on Arctic expeditions.

  • Alti mittens are fully seam taped and feature a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® insert and an integrated, removable liner mitten for maximum comfort and versatility
  • Shells and liners are insulated with synthetic PrimaLoft® One on the back of the hand and thumb; palms are insulated with fleece
  • PrimaLoft insulation resists water, dries quickly and insulates when damp
  • Mittens feature Pittards® Armortan® leather palms to maintain grip in wet conditions and guard against wear from ropes and ice tools
  • Pile fleece palm lining in the shell and liner keeps hands warm while gripping tools and working with gear
  • Precurved construction and 3-panel thumb mimic hand shape for good dexterity and easy grip of gear
  • DuoCinch™ gauntlet closure seals out cold air and is easy to adjust
  • Shell mitten includes a removable wrist cord that secures the mitten to your wrist
  • Rip-and-stick tabs hold liner in place inside the shell

      Comments about Outdoor Research Alti Mittens - Women's:

      I am a professional Mountain guide who has guided 10 Denali expeditions and 2 successful Cho Oyu (8201m) climbs among others. I am not a huge fan of mittens in general as they seriously reduce your hand function/dexterity. That said on certain trips they are absolutely essential. The OR Alti Mitts are a relatively light weight and very warm mitten. I have worn these on both of my Cho Oyu summit days and have never had cold hands. The removable liner is another useful feature. Whenever the altitude/temps call for mittens these are the ones in my pack.
