Designed for leashless ascents, the Outdoor Research Alibi gloves give ice climbers confident gripping while allowing superb dexterity.

  • Sticky, gripping palms help keep tools under control in wet and dry conditions
  • Articulating cuffs support wrists without limiting flexibility, allowing ample movement for swinging ice tools and planting ice screws
  • Secure cuff closures have extended tabs for simple opening and closing
  • Neoprene and nylon construction stretches and provides warmth when wet; resists tears and snags
  • Outside edges of gloves feature gel padding for protection; direct-injected padding on back of hand protects knuckles
  • Hang loops on fingers keep snow out of gloves when not in use; large hang loops at the cuffs let you clip the gloves off to your harness
  • Average weight per pair, size Large, is 6.3 oz.

      Comments about Outdoor Research Alibi Gloves:

      I had a chance to demo these gloves at the Ouray Ice Fest last year...on ice and mixed climbing routes. I loved the fit (wore mens small...am usually a women's medium) and enjoyed how my tools felt in my hands on ice and mixed climbing routes. These gloves are light...great for performance...and I was able to keep my hands warm between climbs by switching into warm mittens. Have not worn these gloves in super cold conditions but I have heavier/bulkier gloves for cold conditions.
