  • Coated nylon ripstop is lightweight and breathable; seams are sealed for weather-tight protection
  • Riding back and forth to work or weekend fun rides, jacket is water resistant and windproof to 60 mph
  • Vented, mesh-lined back yoke enhances breathability and wicks away moisture for greater comfort
  • Brushed tricot-lined collar has a soft, flannellike feel that traps additional warmth and helps manage moisture for comfort next to skin
  • Underarm vents increase cooling air circulation
  • Droptail hemline ensures coverage in the riding position
  • Zippered back pocket holds essentials and converts to a stuff sack for stowing jacket

    I've had mine a year now, and this jacket is like a shield of steel for my 15 minute PNW commutes. With a fleece layer below that I'm good for the winter. No wear at all, and it's pretty resistant to rose thorns as well.

    I'm happy to see that REI now has pants to match the jacket. I will be buying a pair ASAP!
