Comments about The North Face WindStopper High Point Hat:
I've used this hat for several winters now while snowshoeing and around town. Just yesterday I was out snowshoeing in the Rocky Mountains and the weather was in the single digits when I started out.My head stayed warm and comfortable throughout my morning snowshoeing trip, and later in the early afternoon when I was out in bright sunlight and going up steep hills I didn't get overheated. The hat does a good job blocking the wind, too. I've been out when there's been 30 mph gusts and this hat does a wonderful job keeping me warm. The draw string works well, no problems with it. It's handy to have when I do take the hat off, going inside or milder temps around town. I also like the fact that it's not bulky, and very comfortable - not itchy at all. I'm bald so it's even more important for me to keep my head warm in the winter, and this hat has never let me down!
The hat has held up well over the last three winters and being washed. I'm very pleased with this hat.

Comments about The North Face WindStopper High Point Hat:
This is the cap I reach for first in any cold weather situation. It just fits perfectly, and is very comfortable. The chin cinch is a nice touch, keeping the ear flaps we're they need to be at all times.

I was skeptic about this hat but now it's my favorite... too bad it's too warm to wear it year round. It keeps my ears and head nice and toasty...

Comments about The North Face WindStopper High Point Hat:
Like the hat alot... Keeps my ears warm. Works well in the wind when you cinch up the draw cord.
However the drawcord is stiff when cold and can be hard to make comfy under chin or under zipped up jacket becuase it is a little thick bungee with a slider. Otherwise very warm especially when used with a hood.

I wear this hat when I'm racing sailboats in Puget Sound in the winter, and skiing in the Cascades. It's great in cold rain and snow. You'll need a hood if it's raining hard, but aside from that it's a perfect winter sports hat.

Comments about The North Face WindStopper High Point Hat:
I have a small head so the fact this came in different sizes was great. This hat fit perfectly with not too much slack on the back of my head like most hats. Protection from cold air and wind is awesome. I love the North Face.
