Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
The self-clamping bands are a neat idea that doesn't actually work. They never quite fit anywhere I try to wear them and keep trying to roll themselves back up until they fall off mid-ride. One of these days I'll be frustrated enough that I'll just leave them lying in the gutter where they fall off instead of stopping to pick them up. Will be replacing with a more reliable Velcro band.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
I do a look of night road rides, and bought these as a backup 'system' should my blinky rear light battery die. Attach one to my left ankle.
After just two or three uses both tips began to split from the metal strap. These were kind a snap decision buy at REI, but next time I will buy a dedicated ankle/wrist band. Despite the low cost, I'm very tempted to bring them back to REI on my next trip.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
Its better to have something than nothing, but this is not adding much value. So far, I havent been hit by a car but I'm not putting a lot of faith in these. I believe them to be pretty reflective, but depending on where you have them, there is not much visibility.
I wear them on my ankles to run and upper arm when i ride and find them to be quite uncomfortable. I havent felt then cut into my skin at all but its not a comfortable sensation. Maybe in the cooler weather when i would wear it over a long sleeve shirt or pants, it would be better. But by that time, I foresee myself getting something that's more comfortable.
I might bring them back for an exchange if possible.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
This product is not very reflective. Guess you get what you pay for :( It will not give a car enough time to stop if you are on a bike. Do not recommend.[...] Vedante POP BANDS reflect i think around 1200 feet.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
I found these bands really useful for my outdoor runs this winter. I was easily able to snap them over my sleeves on my forearms or around my ankles over my tights/running pants. I don't think I'd wear them directly against my skin as there's no padding or absorbent material on them. However, now that the days are getting longer I don't anticipate too many runs in the dark. However, snapped over a shirt or pant leg, they are great.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
I understand where the other review is coming from. I could not imagine wearing these around my ankles. Ouch!
However, I do like wearing them over my long sleeves for the winter. Not sure how that will work out on my skin once I start wearing short sleeves again, but we'll see.

Comments about Nathan Reflex Reflective Snap Bands:
this product is billed as "easily attaching to ankle." as a runner, i attached them to my ankles and after 13 miles of running, they cut into my ankle area of leg like a knife. more padding or protective materiel is needed if you intend on attaching them to bare skin.
