    These tires are wonderful. I recently purchased a 2008 Novara Safari bike from REI. The bike came with these tires. I must admit the tires caught my eye, because they are large for a road/tour bike. My first day commuting to work there was about an inch of snow on the road. This was a great test for the tires, and they worked so well. There was not a moment I felt unsafe. I had plenty of traction. I've also been in the rain with them with the same experience. I'm going to buy these tires for my wife's bike, and I will definitely recommend them to friends!
