      I went thru the frustration of trying some so-called "dry" bags only to find they are not dry. There was all sorts of technical reasons why the dry bags really aren't dry, or why they won't stay dry.

      These bags work. I started with one. The clear material is obviously useful. They PROVED to be dry. I now have 3 bags of different sizes I used for various purposes in my sea kayak.

      I simply don't look at other dry bags anymore. Found these. They're strong, well made, clear, and dry.

          I use this bag for extra insurance whenever I'm carrying camera gear on long hikes and treks. It's light enough that it lives in the bottom of my backpack so it's there when needed. Plenty of room for a big SLR plus other non-waterproof valuables. I haven't tested it in more hardcore applications like a day bag on whitewater trips.
