I do triathlon and run 30-45 miles per week. I've been running on Nike Air Vomero shoes on pavement for 3 years (starting my third pair) and love them. I run almost every day, so the cushioning and comfort is key. Very durable shoe also.

    I usually don't wear Nike shoes as I am a big Asics\Brooks fan. I just completed wearing out 3 pairs of the Nimbus 10 and since REI is in transition of getting rid of these and hopefully getting the Nimbus 11, I was stuck with no shoes to buy. I settled on this shoe as I heard good reviews. If I were to compare the Nimbus 10 and this shoe, I would say the Nike is much softer feeling and more flexible. The cushioning is so plush. I haven't done any long runs over 6 miles since I just got the shoes a few weeks back. I would say that the cushioning is really prevalent when you wear them and feel like they are already broken in. Feel lighter and more breathable. Some may not like the cushy feel, but for me, I don't think it hampers the ride, but it is really noticeable and a different feel. Toe box is roomier than the Nimbus 10. I wear Injinji socks, so I needed more toe box room than the Nimbus 10. So far so good. I hope they hold up well like my Nimbus 10 did for my last marathon. I really like the Nimbus, but have high hopes for this shoe. So far so good.
