Ideal for travel in spring conditions or when bushwhacking through wet brush, the full-length REI Trail gaiters keep your boots snow- and debris-free.

  • Durable nylon uppers with ripstop-lined Cordura® nylon lowers stand up to hard use; uppers and lowers are water resistant
  • 18 in. length provides excellent coverage when tromping through snow and blasting through brush
  • Rip-and-stick front closures allow quick, easy on/off without fumbling with zippers
  • Changing the amount of overlap on the front closures adjusts the bottom circumference to fit gaiters over different boot styles
  • Tops close with snaps; adjust and set snugness with a single hand using the bungee-style cord and cordlock
  • Laminated nylon instep straps and stay-put lace hooks complete a secure fit around your boots

Gaiter sizes fit U.S. boot sizes as follows:

  • Small/Medium fits men's sizes 5 - 9
  • Large/X Large fits men's sizes 9 - 14

      I purchased my pair about a year ago from an REI Store, I've been really happy with them so far. As an avid outdoorsman and a member of a mountain search and rescue team, I have put quite a few 'miles' on these gaiters if you will. Whatever the weather (Rain or Snow), whatever the task (Backpacking, Hiking, Search & Rescue, Sledding in the Snow), these gaiters have been up to the task and have proven themselves time and time again.         I've had these for a little over a year, and they work great in snow. My most common use for them is while I'm shoveling snow. Helps keep pants clean and dry. I haven't had a chance to use them much walking through brush, but they are durable and don't move around or slide down at all.

          I have used these Gaiters throughout this winter and they have help up great! They keep the snow out,keep your boots dry, and they breath. The only thing i would recommend trying on the different sizes before you guess which size will fit! Overall they are great!
