    Anybody who has tried to eat out of a freeze dried food bag with a standard length spoon will appreciate this spoon. You can dig out every last bit of food and keep your hands clean. The shape and size of the end is perfect for solid food but may not be deep enough if all you eat is soup.

      I purchased this spoon to eat out of freezer bags. I chose this brand over others because it was cheaper, advertised lighter and the brand is a brand that I trust. I used it for the first time a week ago and I did not know where to pack it so I just clipped it onto the outside of my pack. After I hit camp I realized that the ladle was bent way out of place. I wasn't really surprised but I was a bit disappointed since the manufacturer states: "Made from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy that is hard anodized for excellent durability." This strong statement gave me the first impression that the spoon would be really tough. I bent the ladle back into place but there is a failure seam which means the next time it bends, it is done. I don't know if the same thing will happen to the titanium long spoon that I just got but I guess I'll find out.
