by mgbnetfromLeaks like crazyUsed this product for the first time today. Valve on the bottle leaks like crazy. My hand was wet before I left the house, so I checked the top was screwed on properly.
With the gentle up and down motion of my hand during jogging water kept spurting out of the valve. By the time I have completed two and a half miles there was actually nothing left in the bottle. It had all leaked out.
I expected that it would require a decent suck or squeeze of the bottle to get water out, but just shaking the bottle gently caused water to come out.
It's useless for running with.

by sandyannfromLeakyThe bottle began leaking as soon as I filled it from the cap area. I ensured it was screwed on as tight as possible several times. Sitting on the seat of my car for ten minutes left a puddle of water and the bottle half empty. I guess it is okay if you don't mind losing half the water before you even begin running. I will be returning this to the store.

by UberDadfromGood hydro for short runsI have trained with my original Nathan Sprint for over a year and use it on my short runs (10K or less). Great little bottle, easy to carry, you won't notice it's even in your hand. No leaks, no issues. I sometimes use it on mid runs (15K+) but because of it's limited volume, it requires re-filling several times along the way. Only problem is the growth of mold in between valve layers of the silicone seal requiring thorough cleanings. I use Heed or Cytomax and believe it has contributed to microbial growth despite my cleaning efforts. I've also used the bottle on marathon training runs and filled it with GU or similar gel fuel with good success.

by EdgestowfromComfortable and EasyI used the Sprint all last Summer and Fall for any run I did five miles or more. I am completely happy with the product. It fits comfortably on my hand and when I want water, all I have to do is squeeze. A valve opens and allows water out with a squeeze and then automatically shuts when you are done. It does not leak at all. I run with a partner and like my Sprint much better than the hand-held water bottle she uses which has a valve you have to open and close with your teeth or your hand. The strap allows air to circulate so my hand does not get too warm. I am going to buy another one for my husband. One note: If you want to carry money or keys with you, there is no pouch on this to hold anything. It is just a water bottle with a strap.

by humboldt29fromconvenientI like how convenient this product is. It doesn't leak at all and it holds just enough water to get me through my run.
The only thing that I don't like is that my hand gets really sweaty while I'm running ~ however this product stays in place even though my hand gets sweaty.
