The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
What can I say, it's a spoon. Very light.
Of course, you could also use a heavy duty disposable spoon, but it won't be as sturdy as this one.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
I'm 26 and my parents still have these spoons (and forks) and they're the same ones they had from the first time they ever took me camping.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
I went on a short hiking trip and forgot my spork. I ran into the closest REI and came out with this spoon. I like the long handle, but the curve of the bowl is all wrong for me, too deep. I like my spork much better.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
I've had my spoon for 15 years now...
I love it. Still looks new.
Good size. I always pack 2...don't want to be without it.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
I first bought these (plus knives and forks) in 1993. I haven't lost/broken/melted/otherwise disabled any of them, and when I am backpacking the spoon is my only utensil.
It's light, it's cheap, it is nearly unbreakable, and it has excellent 'mouth feel.' A complete winner.

Comments about REI Campware Soup Spoon:
Really light. Don't stain or even seem to scratch. Sometimes they go on sale for 50 sents or so. I have tons of them for picnics, lunch boxes, etc. I use them in the garden for seedlings. Run in dishwasher all the time. They all still look like new and I think they'll outlive me.
