Comments about Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite - Small:
My husband and I went camping over Easter weekend, and these pads made it the most comfortable camp sleep we've had! They were light and stayed put.
The only con is that they do have the tendency to unfold a bit when you fold them up for storing, but it's still way better than the other pads you roll up.
Oh, and we used the longer standard pads, the short ones were a bit too short ;)

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite - Small:
I used this pad at philmont last year. Personally, I feel that cutting off a few sections so that it covers just your back saves a few ounces, but if you decide to keep the sections on, just fold them over on the top and you have a pretty comfortable pillow.
This pad is also indestructible, unlike inflating pads. I had this strapped to the outside of my pack, and the edges were a little chewed up, but all of my friends pads looked really beat up. And the one bad thing is the length. Not being that tall myself, i had to get rid of 4 sections and it was fine for warm camping.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite - Small:
I have been a car camper with a thick, bulky, heavy, but comfortable self-inflating pad. I needed a different pad for my first backpacking trip. Weight was my main concern so while I had been looking at other light-weight self-inflating pads, I decided to shed the extra pound and go for this Z-lite. Comfort was my next concern so I bought the Z-lite and brought it home to try on our hardwood floor with my sleeping bag [...] I almost fell asleep right away lying there in our hallway. On our trip, I was super comfortable. I even slept on my side a bit without much discomfort (that was a frequent complaint about users of closed-cell pads).I am 5'3" and was originally going to buy a regular sized Z-lite and cut out some sections to fit my size. But, I discovered the small size goes from my shoulders all the way to my ankles (this "small" size is longer by a few inches than other small pads). Perfect! For the feather-light weight, convenience of not having to deflate and roll anything up in the morning (1 second vs 5 minutes), and comfort, I'll replace my car camping pad with this one.
