Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Large:
I bought one of these during the "big sale" and took it out this weekend to Joyce Kilmer Memorial. It snowed and temps got very low. I will say that while it stayed inflated it was very warm but the pad would lose all of its air within 2 hours requiring me to wake up and puff more air into it. I guess I'll take it back and try it one more time but first impression left me bitter and cold...literally =)

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Large:
Back to camping after son became a scout and dragged me into the woods. The first trip, I only had an old Thermarest "purple & green" pad. Better than nothing, but not comfortable at all.
In self defense, I bought this pad for the second trip. Remarkably better, though at my size (6'3" 275lbs) - maybe more would be even better. As it is, I was able to sleep much better.
I like it's compact size for the pack, and it appears to be pretty tough. My ( now 6'4") son has used his not-quite-so-compact pad for 3 years now, with no problems. And he's tough on equipment.
I'll be using this in the near future for winter camping, and I'll keep you posted.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Large:
I decided on this pad based on customer reviews and the decision was spot on! Lightweight without sacrificing any warmth or comfort, and being able to transform this into a chair with the additional accessory may just have been the best 2-in-1 idea ever. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have only used the mattress a couple of times (it was actually a gift for my boyfriend) and I'm hoping it will not puncture, but I purchased the repair kit just in case- sounds like it will be easy enough to fix myself. Highly recommended!
