Comments about Therm-a-Rest Lite Seat:
Who would not want to own this awsome piece of comfort. I've had my lite seat for 4+ years now and not one problem not on scratch or dent. My lite seat has gone from Big Bend to Yellowstone to the Grand Tetons to the deserts of Utah to Austin City Limits.
It rolls up to about soda can size and weights nothing...you don't even know its in your pack. It works great as a foot pad if you use a small sleeping pad to keep your tootsies off the ground or as a pillow. I also love using it as a backrest in kayaks(I rent a lot)and turning bear canisters into stools.
After 4 years and countless outings (my last outing)it finally got its first cacti needle which really surprised me because I've sat in almost terrain (mountains to the desert) and never thought twice, but with just a drop a seam sealer problem solved. The light seat has a rugged bottom surface that can put up with any surface outside of maybe broken glass or lava (the needle pierced the top non-protected layer), and for the weight you will be kicking yourself for not getting it sooner. So the next time you want a little comfort on the trail or a little something extra at an outdoor concert never forget the lite seat.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Lite Seat:
I drive two cars with 120K+ mileage. Their driver's seats have seen springier days. Driving any distance, the little Toyota gives me a nagging pain in my left hip and the big Chevy in my right and I don't know which is worse. I just completed a 650 mile drive with this Lite Seat - what a difference. I started with it fully inflated and let out the air until it was just right. Being rectangular you can use it either way around and it fits both seats. I landed on it quite heavily a few times getting into the car and it seems to be very tough. The drive was pleasant for once and my new car fantasies have entirely disappeared, so I consider the Lite Seat a great investment. Another obvious use is on economy class airline seats and my butt has asked me to add the Lite Seat to my packing list.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Lite Seat:
I bought this item, because the kayak cushion I originally ordered is no longer available. For the price it is not a bad deal. The one and only issue I have found with it is that there are no tie downs to keep the cushion from sliding around in the kayak cockpit, so I guess I will need to make a few changes to the cushion for my purpose. But otherwise it does what it is supposed to do.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Lite Seat:
We travel between the U.S. and South Africa quite often and wouldn't survive without the lite seat. It keeps us comfortable and makes the flight less fatiguing. We recommend it to everyone making long flights. It is invaluable!
