Comments about Sidi Giau MTB Bike Shoes - Men's:
I bought these shoes because everyone I have ever talked with about Sidi shoes has raved about them. In most ways, these are excellent shoes. They are easy to adjust, great to walk in, etc.
But when I ride, it feels like someone is sticking an ice pick into the outside of my feet in front of the arch. I have adjusted them many, many times and this pain remains. I have come to the conclusion that these Romanian-made shoes must have been built by the former secret service as a torture device.
Sidi is an Italian company so in that sense they are Italian-made but the box states that they are made in Romania.

Comments about Sidi Giau MTB Bike Shoes - Men's:
Alright, so I've been looking for the perfect cycling shoe and this is nearly it. I commute 25 miles/day and must sometimes wear the bike shoes at my destination. These Sidi shoes are good because they fit my size 11 average-width feet perfectly, breath well, are easy to take off/put on and are lightweight and completely stiff for efficient pedaling. They are far and away superior to the Specialized shoes I had before in that they are fake leather and thus can get soaked and be dried without ill effects (e.g. shrinkage).
The only trouble is now, 18 months later, the inner padding near the heel and sides is wearing out and exposing the foam within. Given the cost of these shoes, I'm a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, these are my favorite so far.
