I have an older one that had the zip off small backpack which I never used (too small to be practical). The bag has held up very well with much abuse by foreign baggage handlers, and many flights in the US and Central America. The wheels are spaced widely to avoid tipping, and are quiet when rolling over all surfaces. The inside pockets (two) are very handy as well as the one outside pocket. I love the placement of handles that allow you to easily grab and load the bag from any position. The backpack straps are easily accessed behind a zippered cover and are not even noticable when zipped away. When in use they are very comfortable and adjustable and there is even a waist belt. This is a heavy bag but I am sure that is part of the reason it is "bomb" proof. My partner covets the bag every time we go somewhere and it is all I can do to keep her from loading her stuff in it before me.

    I have used this bag on a quite a few 5 day trips as well as long weekends all over the USA. The bag fits easily in the airline overhead compartments and can handle crooked sidewalks and hills with ease. The storage compartments were well planned for security. This is a bag that will give you many years of durability.
