Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I am NOT a height/weight normal camping type gal .. I’m over 200 pounds w/ back troubles. This pad worked.

I am a car camper and usually sleep on a 3 foot thick inflated bed (no kidding). I was really scared, but have decided I am going to try some backpacking ‘soon’ and wanted to see if I could sleep on a pad. This pad is great!

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

My girlfriend was new to the backpacking scene this year. I was a tad nervous about trying this pad, but the weight was right on the money, and it felt good up front. Her back/hips can get sore easily, but she claims to have slept great on the pad every time she's used it! So comfortable, the dog favors sleeping at her feet as opposed to his own blanket!
The roll up size is not terrible, but bulky enough that you'll probably want to pack it outside your pack.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I just returned from a thunderstorm filled trip to Eastern Oregon, it was my first use of this pad and I am very impressed! On more then one morning I awoke to the tent floor covered in water, and the bottom of this pad soaked. However the top was dry and warm, my down sleeping bag was not even damp. I have never written a product review before, but am so amazed at the insulating factor of this pad I had to comment, it is worth the money and very comfortable too!

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I am a side sleeper and I am 5'6" 125lbs and my hips dig directly into the ground with this sleeping pad. It also inflated well the first four times I used it, but after that it would barely inflate. This product was just ok for me.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

For softness this thing is no better than just putting a towel on the ground.
Oddly, the 2.5 inch self-inflating REI mattress is REALLY comfortable. It seems strange, because this product is identified as 1.75, which I thought would mean inches, so why would 3/4 inch additional make such a difference? But it does. This product provides no cushioning at all. Zero.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I went car camping this spring and had never used a sleeping pad before. I was looking for something that was good quality but wouldn't cost a lot. This pad worked out really well. It was in the upper 30s and low 40s at night and I felt warm the whole night. Good buy overall.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I am really happy with the comfort. It did require more active inflating on my part than Thermorests I have had in the past, but it was still worlds better than an air mattress. Pretty easy to deflate and roll up.

This is the best pad I've ever slept on. We camped on a gravel bar and I couldn't even feel the rocks. The ONLY thing I would change would be to make it just a little wider.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Pad - Women's Regular:

I am very happy with this purchase. Just got back from an overnight trip on the Appalachian Trail. It was in the high 30's at night time and I couldn't feel the ground. I know that is not too cold but I can tell it will hold up to much colder weather. I absolutely dont mind the way it packs (not in a tight small rollup, but a longer one) because its so ridiculously light. If you have the proper backpack you can definitely attach it on the outside and it will not bother you.
It was very comfortable and I thought pretty easy to inflate. Its self inflatable to a certain point but if you want it totally filled up with air just add some more on your own! Its great!

Got this pad for my most recent 6 day BWCA trip. Worked well. Not above average padding. Did the job, was light and added minimal padding. Will slide if the ground is not level. Otherwise, would purchase again.
