The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
Bought for my wife but I'm a large guy who loves this mat! Provides the best night's sleep on the trail as well as compatibility with our chair frames. We go easy @ 8 miles/day up to 7-day trips along the AT for the last 18 years. We're ultra-light exept for very few small luxuries. Posted issues with mat weight are unfounded unless your doing Maine-Georgia spending months out at a time. I'll take the added comfort, sleep quality and limber step in the morning over a small weight difference and high price tag of other products.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
After seeing the dimensions and depth of this mat, I was excited about it. I brought it home and let it self-inflate overnight, along with my husband's unisex version of the same mat. His self-inflated like a charm, within a very short time. This version, however, did not self-inflate to even half the depth. I was very disappointed that it would not function as advertised, because I was hoping to use this pad for backpacking, and an air pump just adds too much weight. I returned this for another unisex Trekker pad.
Do not get this one unless you have a pump for it.

I used this camping in the back of a pickup while it was snowing.... Super comfortable!! I didn't have any problems with this pad leaking during the night, and it wasn't cold either.

I used this product for a four night car camping trip, and my back feels just as good as if I had slept in my bed.

Very compact and light pad. It offers enough insulation and padding to keep you comfortable in the rough. I am using it for car camping with the occasional hike in camping.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I am very happy with this purchase. Just got back from an overnight trip on the Appalachian Trail. It was in the high 30's at night time and I couldn't feel the ground. I know that is not too cold but I can tell it will hold up to much colder weather. I absolutely dont mind the way it packs (not in a tight small rollup, but a longer one) because its so ridiculously light. If you have the proper backpack you can definitely attach it on the outside and it will not bother you.
It was very comfortable and I thought pretty easy to inflate. Its self inflatable to a certain point but if you want it totally filled up with air just add some more on your own! Its great!

Got this pad for my most recent 6 day BWCA trip. Worked well. Not above average padding. Did the job, was light and added minimal padding. Will slide if the ground is not level. Otherwise, would purchase again.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
REI failed me on all counts. I bought this pad for a recent Mt. Kilimanjaro climb and it lasted only one night. The air leaked out the remaining nights leaving me with sore and bruised hips (literally black and blue and I'm only 115 pounds) and causing me to wake up nearly every hour for the next 5 nights. REI refunded the cost of the pad, but given the circumstances under which it failed, I thought they should have done a bit more.

i've only used this pad a couple times now and it seems to be just what i needed. it is much thicker than other sleeping pads i've used in the past, while remaining lightweight. so far so good.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.75 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I found this pad to be very comfortable and to provide good insulation. I am fairly small, so the size is great for me- no problem sleeping on my back or side. It is not tiny but is very light and compact for the comfort provided.
It does not inflate fully by itself, even in an hour; however, a few breaths will top it off. This is the only complaint I have, since I'd rather not get moist breath into the foam, but it is very typical of similar pads I have used.
I used it on a hard bunk on a boat where water dripped in from the deck above- the pad sat in a pool of saltwater but dried out without damage.
I especially like the texture of the surface- it is somehow really appealing and I don't slide off the pad (even on a tossing boat.) I'm very happy with this sleeping pad and would recommend it.
