Comments about REI Kingdom 4 Vestibule:
I'm shocked that some reviewers said this was difficult to setup. It attaches to the tent with a couple of loops, you put the pole through it, and then stake it to the ground...how is that difficult?
Anyways, it's a must if you own the tent. It gives you a bunch more room to stash your stuff. I've also used sticks or hiking poles to stake out the front like an awning, allowing for me to comfortably sit and watch the rain. (see pictures)

Comments about REI Kingdom 4 Vestibule:
The zipper is poor (just like the Kingdom 4 tent's) and it is a bit confusing to set up. It definitely adds a ton of room to the back of the tent. I fit five 18 gallon rubbermaid totes under it when the clouds began to form.

Comments about REI Kingdom 4 Vestibule:
If I could give it 3.5 stars that's about where I think it sits; it's just slightly better than average. I think it is almost a necessity in a downpour and heavy winds as I can't see the non-vestibule door of the standard Kingdom withstanding that much rain. If you're experienced with tents I think this is pretty self explanatory to set up. I believe the main problem with it are the extra wide flaps to prevent rain from seeping through the zippers (plus the velcro to secure them down can also get annoying). It was a good idea but they constantly snag during opening/closing. I've gotten pretty good with applying a slight outward tug while unzipping to minimize the snagging although it still happens occaisionally. Other than that, there's plenty of room. One other slight annoyance (which doesn't compromise the rainproofing) is that the top of the vestibule can become a rain catch as there's not enough tension for water to roll down the sides, thus you end up with a bowl of water atop the vestibule. Other than that, I've been able to stuff everything, including the poles, into the Kingdom 4 bag so that I don't need to carry the vestibule separately. At full price, it's slightly above reasonable however I see it as a necessary purchase; one of the Kingdom's doors is too exposed without it.

Comments about REI Kingdom 4 Vestibule:
Like any tent, make sure you set it up before going out. The instructions are printed with jargon, without a real diagram. Why cant they just put the same photo as on the website? Would make it much easier.
Is it REALLY necessary to have REI written all over it?? It's awful to come back to your tent and feel like you're a stupid billboard, and I may return it just because of that.

Comments about REI Kingdom 4 Vestibule:
Got the kingdom 4 a year ago, and decided to get the vestibule this year. It would have been nice to have from the get-go.
