Comments about Oregon Scientific ATC-2000 Helmet Cam:
The camera design is good but the camera range is really close, not for filming something that may be 1/4 mile away or more. the camera jumps around and leads to bad picture quality... not sure it's the best deal out there.

Comments about Oregon Scientific ATC-2000 Helmet Cam:
I used this while mountain bike riding. The image is very grainy and poor quality, too unstable, and over all not worth watching so the camera is not worth the money.[...]
Service and delivery comments:
Great delivery time but it is always expensive shipping to Canada.

Comments about Oregon Scientific ATC-2000 Helmet Cam:
Dont expect to buy this camera to replace your Camcoder in terms of "video quality".
That being said, you can certainly expect to replace the bulkiness and delicate handling of your expensive handy-cams/point and shoot by buying this video cam. Its difficult and not feasible to mount a point and shoot or handy-cam on top of your helmet while skiing down slopes when its actually snowing! Or during sky-diving or any such motion sport. Besides, if you fall while skiing or drop it - its got pretty tough built which will save it and even if it breaks its not too expensive of a loss. Its water proof and yes they provide rubber rings and grease to really make it air tight!
It serves my purpose of recording the scenic views which I experience while skiing with normal/not terrible quality so that I can upload it on youtube. It even records your voice. Only con I can think of is - It doesnt record the voice/sound of someone standing right next to you. The microphone is not sensitive enough. Be sure to use "Lithium" batteries for extended life and cold weather conditions.

Comments about Oregon Scientific ATC-2000 Helmet Cam:
This is a nice add on camera for when you are just starting to develop a video blog mentality. Though nothing to brag home about and the quality is not the best; poor is the most suitable word, but for the price it does its job.
