Comments about Pedco UltraClamp Camera Mount:
I'm having a hard time picturing (ha, ha...) what this passive hobby of mine called "photography" was like before I discovered this mount, and I'm coming up blank.
This mount will attach to nearly anything, anywhere, solidly. Great for taking video, long exposure shots, and for attaching to the most off-the-wall places you can think off.
It will attach to handlebars, train crossing gates, rear view mirrors, the body of your car, rocks, rolled down windows, merry go rounds, go karts, motorcycles, sailboats, trees, rollercoasters, tables, chairs, forklifts, copy machines, gliders, doors, helmets, and trains. Get creative... it'll pay off.
Durable and easy to use... I entirely recommend.

Comments about Pedco UltraClamp Camera Mount:
In and around houses, where there are lots of chairs and desks and car windows to which this clamp can be attached, it's very useful. I prefer it to either of my 'micro-tripods' and I find it's nice for holding a camera that's waiting to be used, something I would never do with a tripod for fear of knocking it over.
What's not to like? It is not as flexible as a true tripod, of course, as your stuck with the altitude of the item to which you've clamped it. It may also prove less useful in the backcountry, where there won't be many appropriate clamping targets. It also takes longer to set up than a micro-tripod.
