Incredibly Useful
I originally got this for my grandmother for Christmas, but decided to grab 2 more for myself and my mother. This product is great for the casual user. I always wanted a tripod, but never grabbed one due to the size (and cost) of most "pocket-sized" tripods. This one is flexible enough to be able to be stored in pretty much any bag or pocket without worry of it being damaged during transport, and has excellent build quality. The flexible legs are great for attaching the camera to all sorts of objects, and is especially useful for outdoor self portraits as it can easily be made to hold on to branches or balanced on rocks or what have you. A downside to this design is that it may be too flexible for professional use. It would be nice to have a level somewhere on it, but given its size and adaptable design, as well as the ability to straighten pictures digitally, it is understandable that one would not be included. The Go-go is especially nice with non-camera devices by utilizing the extra attachments. You can attach anything to the Gorillapod. I use the included suction cup to attach my iPod or cell phone the Gorillapod. This is especially useful at the desk, or in your vehicle. Overall, this is a great product. Its small size allows easy transport, and the included attachments make the Gorillapod even more useful for pretty much anything you could think of. I would definitely suggest this item to a friend.
