Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
This is perfect for my kids. The vavle loosen and lets a little bit of liquid out after a while and you can easily buy replacements from Nalgene online for about three bucks. We have them in every color and, for years, they keep a fresh smell (characteristic of nalgene). And made US! [Note some of the nalgene tops are not, but this one is]. Also bought them as gifts for others. Shatterproof (at least from our years of rugged use). Smellproof. Dishwasher safe. I don't recommend microwaving plastic ever, but I heard its okay to microwave nalgenes (after all, the plastic used is the same that they use for the fisher scientific flasks for lab research).

I bought this bottle for my son when he was one and has lasted till he lost it on a trip a few weeks ago he's 3 yrs old know I've never had any problems with it and his little brother started taking it from him to drink out of before he lost it and he just turned one I've never had to replace the valve it is by far the best water bottle/sippy to buy your kids and my 3 year old used it just about every day. I never had any problems with it will be buying 2 new ones for my boys

Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
We bought this only about 7 months ago and it survived through every thing a 2 year old boy can get himself into. By far the best cup we've ever bought for him. Ended up buying the blue one as well later on. I was carrying my son through a parking lot and he dropped it and it cracked from the bottom and started leaking. Its too bad, because I love Nalgene and never has it done that to me and you would think a child's would be extra unbreakable and durable. So I don't know if I would or not recommend, perhaps yes.

Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
I bought this for a wonderful and active 2-year old and he loves it. He doesn't really like drinking out of any other sippy cup now, so I bought a second one.
It's great- it's doesn't leak and holds enough for loner trips away from the house. It's been dropped, slept with, stuffed in the couch upside down and thrown in a toy bin over and over without leaking issues or breaking.
I reccommend this water bottle to anyone trying to keep track of a toddler!

My son actually picked one up and started sucking on it, I wasnt planning on buying it, but i couldnt put it back after that. Good thing it happened, because he loves this cup! easy to drink out of, holds a lot of fluid, easy to clean, spill proof.
i actually just ordered 2 more of them.
The only issue is that the valve can fall out, but i've realized when properly pushed into the lid, it rarely comes loose.

Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
I love this bottle! My husband found it and we decided to try it for our 2yr old daughter. Up to that point we had tried at least 12 types of cups to get her away from bottles. She did well with adapting to all, but each one that we tried before had some sort of issue that made life just a bit harder for us. Either there were too many pieces to try to keep clean, or (when we went a time w/o a dishwasher) they were hard to keep clean and sterile after using milk products, or they would leak/overflow as the liquid w/in warmed.
However, this Nalgene is great! It is only two pieces, so there's no fiddling around with extra pieces all the time. Just grab and go. Easy to keep clean with or w/o a dishwasher to steralize. Although, I am still apprehensive about using it for dairy when we are not where we can really clean it well. It came with a piece to control flow for really young ones, but it just frustrated our daughter. It can drip if it tips over, but not bad enough to be a problem. The best part is that I don't have to clean the cup holder in the car every time we use this cup! Even the awsome kids camelback would force liquid up through the straw and leave a mess of juice and stickyness to clean.
I use this cup every day. I wish we hadn't wasted so much money for the last 18 months on others! I at least wish we had it for our move from San Diego...the road trip would have been much less messy! I will be buying many more for her to use.

My kids didn't like these cups. VERY hard to suck out of. my kids are BIG drinkers, but they REALLY had to WANT to get the liquid from the cup. also notice... my kids learned to shake the cup to get the valve out, then drink out of it. Today my 2 year old dropped the cup down the stairs and it broke. Now, I have a firm belief this cup is garbage!

Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
We have a 2 yr old son who has gone through a million different sippy cups and water cups and this one from Nalgene is probably the only one to pass the test. We have had to trash so many because he destroyed them in one way or another: biting the mouth piece until it is deformed, cracking it, and in general putting it through the ringer. We have others we use (Klean Kanteen with sport cap, their sippy attachment was awful; and the "Safe Sippy"), but the Nalgene is the best. It doesn't leak at all. Yes, a few drops can escape, but if it were totally leak proof, the kid wouldn't be able to get any liquid OUT either! It has been thrown, dropped, and in general tortured and is in perfect condition. It holds way more liquid than a traditional sippy, and because of the wide opening, is easy to put ice into as well. Would be great if they came out with an insulator sleeve for it so it doesn't sweat all over everything.
I have no complaints at all and am planning on buying him another one for his cubby at school and will buy more for the next kid as well!

This is the only kind of sippy cup our 14 month old son uses now, no matter where we are, the trail, the river or the dinner table.

Comments about Nalgene Everyday Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottle - Kids' 12 fl. oz.:
I have had these for about 2 years, since they came out with the BPA free. I have never had a problem with leaks and have been washing the same valves in the dishwasher each day. I have 7 of them and find them to be easy to clean, even if left in the car for a few days with milk in them.
My 4 year old and 1 year old both like them and I like that they don't leak and don't shatter. We have had other sips for my young son who had been only breast fed until recently, thinking the soft spout would be better, but not only did he have trouble with the soft spout, but every time he threw one from his high chair, it shattered sending milk everywhere. I am back to buy 4 more sip cups! I think it is one of the best products I have bought and am sad I wasted so much money on "cheaper" alternatives.
