I took this on a trip to Rwanda and was easily able to charge my IPod with no converter needed. Worked great and was light on my person/in my baggage.

These things are great. You can stick in on something like a laptop plug and it'll just stay there, so there's no fear of losing it.

So far they've proven to be pretty durable.

These also work in Africa.

Make sure that whatever you're plugging in can Handle 220v, or else get a transformer.
