      Picked up this converter kit for our recent trip to Germany and the Czech Republic. Was still worried to plug in my electric razor or my wife's iPhone the very firt time, as I've heard that these devices don't work sometimes giving your device the straight 220-240 volts instead of the normal 120 volts that we have here in the States which would end up frying your electronics. HOWEVER, we were very pleased to note that this converter kit worked like a charm. No problems at all. We're keeping it on hand for all of our trips abroad.

      Took to Europe for a three week trip. Only lasted about six days. My wife used her hair drier and curling iron maybe four times total, the rest of the uses were from the shaver, Iphone and GPS.
      Had to carry that heavy thing around for the remaining two weeks just to return it.

          The first problem was that the plug marked as "Americas" does not fit the sockets in Chile so I had to search out a place to buy the correct plug.
          The second potential problem is that no instructions came with the converter so I don't know the difference between the HI and the LO settings. I hope I do not ruin an appliance learning.

          Well after buying one and bringing it home to see that that actual converter I needed was not in the package (I had 2 Japan converters) I got the right one. I have no real complaints about the product. It worked!!! My only complaint and I'm not sure who or what to blame it on was the voltage converter. Every time I plugged in my blow dryer it sparked and blew a fuse. All in all it did the job. I suggest making sure opening the box before leaving the store just to play it safe!!!
