After an initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Comments about Novara Fusion ST Women's Bike - 2009:

I took this bike for a test ride not too long ago. The primary negative about this bike are that it only comes in one size. I'm about 5'6" (albeit with longish legs and arms) and this bike felt too small; the shop had to raise the seat to the almost max position and recommended that if I bought it, I might want to get a longer stem. But having a step-through is important to me.

Also, the bike weighs 35 pounds. Bike manufacturers don't like to publish the weight because, supposedly consumers are not smart enough to understand that modifications and different gear can cause this to change. I think we are smart enough to understand that a bike weight can fluctuate within a reasonable range.

I may still end up buying this bike but I'm still shopping around. It changed gears well and the controls seemed to be in logical places, within easy reach. I also think that stock gearing would do fine on hills and such, though I only rode it on flat ground.
