Dansko Sally Mary Janes are feminine, contemporary and designed for maximum support with a polyurethane outsole and their signature rocker bottom.

  • Full-grain brush-off leather uppers are water resistant and durable; leather-lined instep straps secure the fit
  • Upper-to-sole stitch construction is nearly 30% lighter than Dansko stapled clog construction
  • Pigskin leather linings are smooth and soft; footbeds are ergonomically shaped to support arches and heels
  • Open-cell foam footbeds with soft Dri-Lex® topsoles transport moisture, dry quickly and resist odor-causing bacteria

      This is a really light and comfortable shoe. I owned a similar version of it and could walk forever in them - even do some light hiking if you can believe it. The problem is the heel - or the height - or both. Even in an urban setting, you suddenly find yourself with a turned ankle for no apparent reason from time to time - scary. These Sally shoes wobble with just a little lack of attention even on flat surfaces. I just ended up returning them both.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      I got these to have new Danskos to be on my feet in at work and to walk around the city. Prettier than the funky professional and the ankle strap keeps them in place well. The sole is more flexable and cushioned than a standard professional clog and the arch less high. I wobble about the same as in any Dansko.
      Very comfortable, very cute, and great for walking a few miles in the city!!

        Great for work. a nice middle ground between stylish pumps (ouch!) and my profesional clogs (kinda clunky, but bliss for the feet). I can wear them with a skirt or dress and look moderately stylish and my feet don't hurt after a long day. Puts a little bounce in your step. Just don't think that they will be exactly like dansko clogs. I have the Dansko Roxy pump for my fancy suit days, but these have a lower wider heel base. thicker strap and roomier toebox which make them waaaaay more comfortable. Plus they breathe much better on those 110 F AZ days

          The first pair I tried on in the store did not fit. The REI asst. told me that these shoes are hand made, and that another size 39 may account for my longer second toe - giving me the room I needed. He was gracious enough to bring out the other two pairs left in that size, and he was right. I found the perfect fit. These are very comfortable and stylish shoes, and I highly recommend them. Great arch and heel support.

            Love these shoes. I run around with 3 children and wanted something a little more stylish than runners with jeans. These fit the bill, their funky and ultra comfortable. Also I am only 5ft so the heel gives me height that I need. I get compliments on them whenever I wear them...which is alot! I would buy another cute Dansko shoe..waiting for the sandals to come out.
