Comments about West Paw Zisc - Large:
I have 2 blue heeler mixes and they love playing, wrestling and chewing up every toy I give them. This is their favorite toy, they love it! Throwing it in the field, tossing it around the dog park, it floats so its great for playing frisbee in the lake. Besides playing catch they have the most fun playing tug of war with it and then chasing eachother around the house trying to get it back. They're both chewers and will dismember a tennis ball in 5 minutes and destroy a bone in 2 days, this is the only company who's toys they can't destroy, there's not even a knick in them after intensive chewing! We love this product for our girls.

This thing is practically indestructible. My 1 year old boxer has destroyed every frisbee he has except this one. The material is flexible enough that he can chew on it but it snaps right back. I can also throw it in the house without worrying about it skuffing up the walls or breaking a window

Comments about West Paw Zisc - Large:
We've purchased many dog toys over the past few years, most of which were eventually destroyed or unused for lack of interest. This dog frisbee is remarkably strong and flexible and hasn't been torn despite vigorous use.
The disk is so popular with our dog that she brings us and 'taps' us with it when she wants to play. She will catch it, throw it to herself and catch it (which is pretty crazy to see) and play tug o' war.

Best one I have found! My dog loves it and it holds up outdoors and in rough play. Flys well too. We have gone through so many of the other brands so now I will only buy this one. Thanks!

Comments about West Paw Zisc - Large:
After 5 years, I'm finally buying a replacement. I have two labs who live to catch frisbees and chase tennis balls and this is the ONLY toy I've found that has lasted more than a few weeks. After 5 years, the first one finally split while being tugged over by 3 80+ pound labs. It still flies just fine, but I've been so happy with it, I'll gladly buy another and keep the old one as a backup/lake toy.
I've seen some other reviews that it doesn't throw well. I will admit it takes a little getting used to, but I can easily throw it 30-40 yards and my dogs have no trouble snatching it out of the air.
I would recommend this to ANYONE who has a dog that loves to retrieve!

I was very so excited when our disc was received in the mail, but it quickly turned to disappointment-yes it is easy to clean and compact and my dog does like it, but it doesnt fly--it thuds. Too heavy a disc to sail through the air it flys a little distance and then lands with a thunk! It is so heavy that my dog cannot catch it as it has no flight. very disappointed in my purchase.

I have a very active dog who loved tennis balls. We saw this frisbee and thought "dog proof, yeah right." That was 2 years ago, and it is still the best loved toy at our house. She doesn't even look at a tennis ball anymore, and you can forget a game of frisbee without her! It has held up to a dog that loves to chew and walks around with it folded in half like a taco in her mouth. It does show some wear, but it is still worth every penny. Every other frisbee we bought her didn't last the week!

Comments about West Paw Zisc - Large:
My german shorthair absolutely loves frisbies however, she usually destroys them in about 5 mins. Gave this frisbie a try, dog had an absolute blast with it but, put a tooth through the middle of it within a half an hour and had a large hole in the center of it a few minutes later. The middle is thinner than the edges, I think if it were thicker it would have held up much better.

This product is DURABLE! I have two 70 pound labs that destroy every toy they have. We have had this frisbee for over a year now and it's like brand new. It's great in the snow as you can see the bright green color. It's great in the frigid temperatures as it won't break. The dogs play tug of war with it and fetch with it and the frisbee doesn't even have a hole in it yet.

My dog loves this frisbee. She's a german shepherd/collie mix. Granted, she loves all frisbees. I love this frisbee because it is soft on my hands and the floors of the house. I don't let her chew on it, as she could probably destroy it with enough time. I have great luck throwing it. I like to use it in the house for short fetching games when I can't get outside for a bit.
