      Replaced my 4 year old Muir Woods jacket with this version and it feels warmer with a better look thanks to the flat seams and ribbed outer texture. The soft tricot lined collar provides more comfort against your neck and the midweight fleece had good wind resistance. All in all, a nice upgrade to an REI classic.

          this is a great jacket; the perfect weight for cooler days and it zips in to my shell (a one other than the tag suggests) for extra utility. the only con, if there is to be one, is that when fully zipped the bottom hem is a bit snug due to its athletic fit.

            This is a very nice fleece to wear out because it does have a nice style to it. Very warm so the one wearing it feels they can be in pretty chilly temperatures. Frankly nothing negative to say at all.

            After reading numerous positive reviews, I decided to overcome my fear of spending[$]on a fleece & bought it. It took less than 20 minutes of wearing it to realize this was by far the best fleece I've ever owned! Love the ribbed outer texture, great to wear for a night out, yet tough enough to take hiking. Keeps you warm like a regular fleece, just without the hair/lint magnet texture of traditional fleece. The only improvements I would like to see would be some type of internal pocket & a drawcord at the waist. Great logo placement as well; subtle & inconspicuous. If you're looking for a classy, warm fleece, this is the one for you!
