Comments about The North Face Furallure Down Jacket - Women's:
This is not a jacket for city living of daily subway and bus commutes. It gets dirty and the dirt does NOT come out. Mine lasted 2 seasons and looked awful at the end with tears and snags and feathers escaping. Heavy snow melted right through.
If you use it just on the slopes and not for day-to-day city activities I am sure it's a great jacket.

Comments about The North Face Furallure Down Jacket - Women's:
I would not recommend this jacket. While snowboarding, I came to realize that the short style of the jacket let snow ride up the jacket (no skirt to cinch to keep snow out). The band of cottony stretch material along the bottom and sleeves of the jacket also got soaked.
As for everyday winter/cold weather use, I prefer a jacket that is a little longer to provide more warmth/coverage. Although I think the style is cute, it just isn't practical for me when I want something that provides a lot of coverage from the elements.

Comments about The North Face Furallure Down Jacket - Women's:
I bought this jacket because I am new to cold weather and wanted something fashionable that would definitely keep me warm. I thought it would be something I could wear out on a nightly basis, but I have found that is just gets in the way and is way too bulky for daily wear. I am very disappointed in how dirty the jacket got. The elbows are bubbling and it stains very easily. I had high hopes for this jacket (especially since it cost so much) but after just two seasons of wear I'm already looking at replacing it.
