Comments about Coast LED Lenser P7 Focus Beam Flashlight:
I compared this flashlight with the Surefire E2L Outdoorsman and Inova XO3 flashlights. The Lenser P7 is brighter than than E2L (which beats the XO3 by far), has a 2-way adjustable beam (the E2L does not), and has two levels of intensity (like the E2L but unlike the XO3). The narrow beam is better defined than the E2L and the wide pattern is quite wide, good for a general purpose flashlight. The Lenser P7 has a cool-white light compared to the warmer yellow cast of the E2L. The best part for me though is that the P7 takes more economical rechargeable AAA-batteries.
For a compact flashlight, it's unbelievably bright. It's far brighter than my old 3 D-cell maglite. The P7 comes with a rugged nylon holster to put on your belt (a carabiner too) as well as a wrist strap similar to a compact digital camera. The build quality and materials are excellent.

Comments about Coast LED Lenser P7 Focus Beam Flashlight:
I was hesitant to spend this much on a flashlight, but I have to say I am very satisfied with my purchase. The light is extremely bright for such a small package, and seems to be very durable. I liked the fact that you can use standard AAA batteries.

Comments about Coast LED Lenser P7 Focus Beam Flashlight:
This is an awesome flashlight. It has amazing power at it's highest setting -- quite sufficient for reading street signs at night, for example. I love the adjustable beam which allows you to "throw" the light farther when you just need a pinpoint of light, or cast the light in a wide beam for general illumination. I like its styling -- simple and elegant. When walking along at night, the low-power setting is quite adequate. And I like the fact that the light is a nice white color. Some LED flashlights have slightly tinted light (usually on the blue side) which probably doesn't affect their usefulness but just is not as nice as pure white.

Comments about Coast LED Lenser P7 Focus Beam Flashlight:
The Coast Lenser P7 is a really great flashlight. The beam is Very bright and the focus barrel works perfectly. Build quality is top notch. This flashlight has all the benefits of the more expensive brands for a much better price. I'll probably pick up a few of these as Christmas gifts.
