      a little thicker material would be better in colder climates also longer in length so outer wear firmly covers it

      i'm a big fan of smartwool,in socks i only wear smartwool,but this balaclava it's not a snug fitting one,perform as advertised it breathes,it insulates even if wet,i tested during a storm working outside and i never felt wet or sweaty,it perform as advertised but the fitting is too loose,if you put it under your jaw it will feel loose if you want to cover your nose

      smartwool rules,but it could be better if the fitting were tight to your head,cause you can put it at your jaw,but it streches and then you can't put it to cover your nose,other than that it perform as advertised,hope it helps
