I bought this for running, and as someone else has noted, it doesn't stay in place on my upper arm. I have small arms, but it does fit. But the elastic doesn't stay in place in the adjustable connector, and it keeps sliding down my arm. Perhaps for cycling, or as a dog collar, it would be fine. I've had to just take it off and carry it. I may try to find some other use for it, but am strongly considering returning it.

I added a piece of elastic to the band to make this an adjustable waistband. I use it to cinch in my rain/cold weather jackets for early morning (dark) winter commutes. It puts something flashy and reflective up higher-closer to sleepy drivers eye level than my rear taillight, and also blocks drafts effectively.

Used for running and cycling at night. Flashing mode gets attention but beam is too low for use in dusk or overcast. Comfortable fit on the arm. But if worn on the arm will only "cover" one side. I suppose I should buy another for the other arm or wear it on the "traffic" side.

I have a small arm...so the tightest adjustment works for me. unsure how it would work in biking, but it helps a lot with dusk and dark
running or walking....the cars notice I'm there
and the last minute swerves to miss me are appreciated, I suspect, by the drivers as well as myself. This is a big improvement over wearing a white shirt to be seen...it is clear the drivers are aware of me much sooner with this device.
A very worthwhile safety investment by me!

The elastic strap slowly slips through the clip and needs to be re-tightened every 10-15 minutes during normal walking. During vigorous arm movements, it needs tightening so frequently as to be unusable. I am trying modification but don't have one yet that I like.

This clever little device has a red LED-driven light rope behind a reflective strip. When headlights shine on the band the reflective part does its job, but the LEDs provide some visibility even unilluminated. I use a pair as arm bands so I can make visible hand signals at night; unfortunately they're a bit large for this purpose, so I have to wear them at my elbow instead of around the wrist.

Battery is a standard CR-2032 watch battery and pretty easy to replace, although you do need a small screwdriver. The flash/steady/off switch is a simple pushbutton and easy to accidentally turn on in your bag.
