The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Canari Gel Liner - Women's:
Should have tried this on before purchase. It could have just been this one short, but the medium I grabbed was way too loose on top, and so tight around my thighs. I'm 5"10 and 160lbs with average athlete thighs so I was very surprised to have these turn out to be so darn tight. I'll be returning and looking for a different pair of short cycling shorts.

Comfy, quick drying. Inexpensive. I didn't realize you weren't supposed to wear underwear with cycling shorts so I do it anyway. I wear these to my spin class by themselves and I can't see through them (with dark panties) so I am buying more. Your situation may vary but my spin class is one of those dark club-like places and I don't care if you can sort of see panty fabric through them. It beats a pair that costs twice as much. I handwash them at night and they're dry by the following evening for another class.
For regular outdoor rides I often wear these under a skirt or pants (casual rides, not fitness rides) .

I bought these for spinning classes at my gym. After three wears and three washes, the gel cushion is completely gone. Another reviewer mentioned that these do not feel like wearing a maxi-pad but now that the gel is gone, that's exactly what these feel like. They were wonderful for the first class, but went downhill quickly after that. I don't know if I can return them but I will certainly be shopping for something else.

Comments about Canari Gel Liner - Women's:
My first GEL-type short. I have to say they are a bit to get used to. I feel they do not let me adjust on the seat as easier. But they are better padding than non-gel shorts. I can wear one pair and feel I have padding vs 2-pair of the non-gel. The waistband is thick so it holds up better than my other bike shorts. The material seems thin, so these are more 'undergarments' or "liner" like they advertize, so I wear these under knickers or tights, etc. Price is great compared to other gels. I do feel the binding around the bottom leg is tighter than most so that takes a bit to get used to
Would recommend is concerned about price. If willing to pay more, get a pair made out of traditional bike material.

Comments about Canari Gel Liner - Women's:
I've been looking for something to cushion my tush during riding without cutting off circulation to my legs and waist. This is the ticket. Wore them this morning and didn't think about my rear-end once and it doesn't feel bruised. Weird since the pad seemed kinda shotty and thin when I bought it compared to the Cannondale shorts with chamois I was previously wearing. Overall, I really enjoy not feeling like I'm wearing a maxi-pad during my rides.

I prefer these to the Canari Pro Gel Bike Shorts I also bought from REI at the same time. If you like a tight fit, go down a size. I prefer the looser fit on these and that they don't dig in or bind the waist or legs. Good padding in the right places

Comments about Canari Gel Liner - Women's:
I was surprised that these were actually a bit big in the waist (I have a thicker waist). I thought that they would be much tighter, and I really liked that fact that they didn't squish me. They were very comfortable. They have lots of padding and worked great for what I used them for. I wore them under skortz and they were perfect for that.

Wore these last weekend with my orange animal-print tights in the San Diego "Midnight Madness" bike ride -- beat last year's time by at least 15 minutes. Really comfortable, no binding, stretchy where they need to be and cushy where it helped the most. GOOD STUFF.

These are great, well cushioned. The only comment of note is that they are fairly warm, making them perfectly suited for cold weather.
