The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
This table is AWESOME. It has adjustable buckle straps connecting each corner to the leg underneath so that the frame stays rigid and won't collapse like a folding chair when you pick it up or move it. The mesh table top has high-end cup holders and has a cross-support for structure. There's a hanging panel with multiple pockets in it. The whole thing folds nicely into a case that has a handle at the draw-string opening and an adjustable shoulder strap. This table is so functional and practical in its performance and design. I saw it in the store and would easily have paid twice as much for it. You have to see it. Better yet, buy it!

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
A very handy little table. Perfect anywhere but I have found it necessary in the tent next to the cot. Holds the eyeglasses, an overnight bottle of water, a small snack, the night time reading material, a reading light and a flashlight all within an arms reach. No worries about spilling anything with the drink holders and the caddy on the side. Solid on top and sturdy, easy to set up and compact.
Outside this table does not collect water if rained on. It is easy to clean, just pour some water on it at the campsite or hose it off if at home.
Given it's weight, the amount of space it takes up and the cost of this table I won't go anywhere without it.

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
We exclusively car camp, and intentionally purchased a 4 person tent for the two of us because we like to have extra room. We use a Hobitat 4 with a queen-size inflatable air mattress, and on our last trip, noted that we could use a side table, or something to keep thngs like snacks and drinks off the floor of the tent. A milk crate was looking like a viable option
We looked at several camping side tables; some of which seemed to be a pain to set up because they had metal rods that had to slide in a certain way; plus they were pricey. We were concerned that if we lost parts, those tables would be worthless.
The REI manager showed us this REI end table, and we were sold. We liked how easy it was to set up. The table has a carrying case and unfolds the way an aluminum chair does. On each corner, there are four straps connecting the table top to the legs that buckle; this provides tension and prevents the table from folding when in use. To store the table, just loosen and unbuckle the straps, and the table folds like a chair to store in its bag. No parts to loose, and very simple.
With tension in the straps, the table top is sturdy enough to hold items with larger surface area, i.e. books, lamps with a broad base, bowl of snacks. The table top is made of mesh material, so its easy to clean, and dust doesn't really collect on top.
But because it is mesh, the top only becomes so taught. Items that need a very sturdy surface, i.e. tall stemmed wine glasses, would likely fall over Hence why cup holders were built into the table. There are two cup holders that are just like the holders in the arm rests of a folding chair. They fit water bottles or soda/beer cans no problem.
The side pockets hold cell phones, flash light, and magazine within arm's reach (previously we had stored them in the side pockets of the tent, though that wasn't particularly convenient. We haven't tried putting a brick in the side pockets, but for the cells phones, etc, there has been no problem with the table tipping over from the weight.
We love this table so much, we actually are using it as an end table at home next to our sofa. Remote controls and books, plus beer bottles, fit nicely, and when we want to move it, we just pick it up and move it. It's a very versatile piece of camp furniture, and a bargain price for its functionality.

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
Smart design, well executed. A full-size hardback novel fits vertically in the biggest side pocket. I loaded the table with a full 32 oz Nalgene water bottle and another water bottle. Would be fine with a can of soda but I don't have any on hand so didn't try it. Sturdy yet quite light. Packs up easily and fits nicely back in the carry bag. I think it is a bargain at the full price of [$]The one drawback I see with this table is it would not work with wine glasses. But since I value the side pockets and lightweight even more this is a must-pack for me.

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
I bought this somewhat on impulse when I was at REI. I thought it would be good to use for music festivals. We used it camping and it was wonderful. My 3 small daughters loved to sit around it and play games. It was a bit shakey however. I wish the store had more of them.

Comments about REI Camp End Table:
We have an older version of these, which we have owned for over 15 years. Many uses in camp: side tables, foot rest, extra seating. They take up very little room, and last for years.
